SaaS Finder ("we", "us") is an independent software discovery directory available at saas-finder.ai, operated by Quantum Digital. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.

Information you provide to us

• Newsletter subscription. If you subscribe, we collect your email address and the page you subscribed from. We use it solely to send you our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email or by contacting us, and we will delete your address from our list.
• Contact form. If you contact us, we collect your name, email address, and message so we can respond to you.
• Product submissions. If you submit a product, we collect the product details you provide and, optionally, your email address so we can follow up.

We never sell this information, and we do not use it for purposes other than those stated above without asking you first.

Information collected automatically

• Usage analytics. We use PostHog to understand how the site is used (pages visited, referrer, device and browser type, approximate location derived from IP). This data is used in aggregate to improve the site.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) may keep standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for security and operational purposes.
• Local preferences. Your theme choice (light/dark) is stored in your browser's localStorage. It never leaves your device.

Cookies & tracking technologies

• Analytics cookies. Our analytics provider may use cookies or similar technologies to distinguish unique visitors.
• Affiliate tracking cookies. Some outbound links are affiliate links. When you click one, the destination vendor or its affiliate network may place tracking cookies on your device to attribute the referral. These cookies are set by third parties under their own privacy policies, and we do not control them. See our affiliate disclosure.

We do not run advertising networks or set our own advertising cookies.

How we use your information

We use the information described above to operate and improve the site, deliver the newsletter you asked for, respond to your messages, review product submissions, protect the site against abuse, and comply with legal obligations. Where laws such as the GDPR apply, we rely on your consent (newsletter), the performance of your request (contact, submissions), and our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site (analytics, logs).

Who we share data with

We share data only with the service providers that run the site:

• PostHog — product analytics.
• Vercel — hosting and content delivery.
• Sanity — content management; serves the site's content and images.
• Convex — database that stores newsletter subscriptions, contact messages, and product submissions.

These providers process data on our behalf. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Data retention

Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact messages and product submissions are kept as long as needed to handle them and for a reasonable period afterwards. Aggregate analytics are retained to track the site's performance over time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us — we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable technical measures (HTTPS everywhere, restricted access to stored data) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International transfers

Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses offered by those providers.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
